Amelia Deschamps’ documentary was presented as an Official Selection of this prestigious U.S. festival.
“I am happy with the audience reaction, questions and interaction that were generated after the presentation of my documentary “In Search of the Blue Heart” at the Orlando Film Festival. “In Search of the Blue Heart” is the first short documentary by Dominican journalist and documentary filmmaker Amelia Deschamps. The documentary tells us about the life of the miners who extract larimar in the Dominican Republic, an exclusive stone of the country that is recognized as the National Stone.
The documentary will be presented in New York on November 6, as an Official Selection of the Dominican Film Festival in New York.
