February 1, 2024 – In a demonstration of continued commitment, the European Union reaffirmed its support for risk prevention and management at the larimar mine in Barahona, Dominican Republic.
Approximately ten years after financing the construction of the mine’s main tunnel, the European Union opened a space for dialogue with the screening of the documentary “In Search of the Blue Heart” by journalist and documentary filmmaker Amelia Deschamps.
