Santo Domingo.- The communicator, Amelia Deschamps reported this Monday that, after ten years as a commentator on the television program “El Día”, she has decided to end this cycle of her career and set new and challenging goals and objectives.
By means of a letter, she indicated that next Friday she will definitively say goodbye to the space that is transmitted by Telesistema channel 11, with the objective of undertaking new personal projects that will be linked to the informative task.
“Each stage has a beginning and an end (…) Every day, I have felt honored to be part of a team in which the fundamental reason for being and doing has always been the well-being of the population we serve: the people, the Dominicans,” said the journalist.
She expressed that she fills her with pride knowing that the work she does contributes to the Dominicans having a better country.
She maintained that “I will always be grateful for the privilege I have had of sharing all these years with Huchi and Javier and the rest of the family that cannot be seen, the magnificent team of El Día and the family of Telesistema 11, a place that I will always consider my home”.
She thanked viewers for welcoming her into their homes each morning.
